I was incredibly pissed last night when Kurt was telling Quinn that her troubles didn’t compare to Karofsky’s. Apparently getting pregnant at 16, getting kicked out and disowned by your parents, getting shuffled around from house to house, giving up your baby, and then suffering from depression as a result is not that big of a deal.

I was actually so incredibly offended by this. It’s disgusting to try and compare someone else’s pain to your own. You just can’t do it. We’re all different. We all lead completely different lives, have completely different personalities, and what might seem like nothing to me may just be pain severe enough to cause someone to want to end their life. How dare he try to trivialize what she went through when he hadn’t walked in her shoes. More than anything, after Schue’s speech, I was sincerely hoping he’d apologize to her, but I guess that’s asking for a bit too much.
